Happy 1-1-11 day.
I love cool date days like that!
All my guys are hunkered down in the living room watching the REAL 1980 Olympic game that the movie Miracle was based on so I thought I would sneak away for a bit to say Happy New Year with you all as I sip my coffee from my super bright butter yellow mug that my hubby got me for Christmas.
2010 has been a good year. A great year. I was laying in bed this morning thinking of some of the highlights, like......
When S1 went on his Russian Boar Hunt. At this very moment, as I type this, he is off on another hunt with his Uncle. I expect his excited call this afternoon. I'll be sure to share the hunt and pics with you this time too.
We hardly ever visited the ER this year. THIS is a small miracle. And when we did have to visit, it was minor things and I was able to share them with you.
I have shared all sorts of embarrassing daily life stuff with you, and told you about my true blondness and the funny stuff my hubby and I do.
But we have had some major big news too....
Like Winning Morning Mom.
And all the behind the scenes when we visited the Fox 17 studio.
When Sue and I met David Baldacci. And the blog was put on his website.
Sue and I worked on and published our first e-sine, Praise and Coffee the Magazine.
My mom and I visited the Princess Diana exhibit.
You met Becca.
You met the Farmer's Wife.
And if winter gets too long, we may have to write you story again like we did last winter.
I have shared innumerable snake, turtle, frog and mud stories. The list is over twenty. Really.
And camping stories. I STILL get asked about the naked one.
And for the first time in twelve years, I got a job outside the house. It's a job I love love love love love at the local library. Where this happened. When I was working.
It has been a great year.
A wonderful year.
One filled with blessings upon blessings upon blessings.
I am overwhelmed.
And I have thankfully been able to share all these moments with you.
I thank you from the very depths of my heart.
You all have become so dear to me. Good friends.
Thank you.
And I can't wait to see just what blessings and funny stories we all get to share for 2011.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!
